LACI’s Incubation Pilots is an active learning experience that will help LACI Startups in the Incubation Program plan, design, deploy, learn and leverage a pilot to benefit their business goals. The Incubation Pilots Program supports small-scale deployments within California to support aspects of a company's goals such as: tech validation, customer discovery, alternative revenue models, funding validations, product improvements, etc.
Pilot Basics:
-- Eligible to receive funding for full or partial pilot work based on a budget allocation rubric; offered as a grant payable by LACI as pilot milestones are reached with proof documentation.
-- Pilots are presented by Incubation companies and approved by LACI
-- Pilots must be scoped for deployment in CA (preference on City of LA)
-- Pilots must begin after May 2026
-- LACI’s Team will provide support for pilot scoping, potential support with partner/community engagement, and check-ins during deployment
